Location: Tulsa Metro (On‑Premises + Travel to Client Sites) 

Type: Multi‑Month Contract, Possibility to Convert to Full-Time 

Schedule: Full-time, with occasional after-hours or weekend work 

Travel: Required (regional/out-of-town projects)

Position Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Cabling Technician to support larger structured cabling and infrastructure projects throughout the Tulsa Metro area and surrounding regions. This role is ideal for someone dependable, willing to travel, and ready to work. No licenses are required—just basic cabling knowledge, a strong work ethic, and the ability to support senior technicians on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead technicians with installation of low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber, etc.)
  • Support cable pulls, terminations, labeling, and testing
  • Help install racks, patch panels, cable management, and related hardware
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety procedures
  • Travel to client locations, including multi-day out-of-town assignments
  • Participate in occasional after-hours or weekend work as project schedules require
  • Represent the company professionally at all client sites

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic experience with cabling, wiring, or general construction/technical labor
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment
  • Willingness to travel and work out of town when needed
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite daily
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or in tight spaces

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience assisting with structured cabling projects
  • Familiarity with cable routing, pathways, and infrastructure standards
  • Exposure to telecom, networking, or low-voltage environments
