General Installer (Low-Voltage, Security, & Cabling)
Location: Tulsa Metro (On‑Premises + Travel to Client Sites)
Type: Multi‑Month Contract, Potential to Convert to Full-Time
Schedule: Full-time, occasional after-hours or weekend work
Travel: Required (regional/out-of-town projects)
Pay: $20–$25/hr, based on experience

Position Overview
We are seeking a General Installer with experience in commercial low‑voltage environments—ideally including security systems, CCTV installation, or structured cabling. This role supports senior technicians on large-scale installations across the Tulsa Metro area and regional client sites.
No formal licenses are required, but prior exposure to low-voltage work is strongly preferred. Travel is a regular part of the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and support low-voltage infrastructure, including:
- Structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber)
- CCTV/security camera installation and mounting
- Conduit routing, cable pathways, and cable management
- Assist lead technicians with:
- Cable pulls, terminations, and testing
- Rack/closet build-outs, patch panels, and hardware installation
- Device mounting (cameras, sensors, access points, etc.)
- Maintain clean and organized work environments
- Follow all safety guidelines and project procedures
- Travel to client sites, including multi-day out-of-town work
- Participate in occasional after-hours or weekend assignments
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with low-voltage installation, security/CCTV setup, cabling, or general technical/construction labor
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in tight spaces
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Reliable transportation and ability to work onsite daily
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and willingness to learn
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed
Preferred
- Experience installing commercial CCTV or security systems
- Familiarity with conduit bending, cable routing, and pathways
- Exposure to telecom, networking, audiovisual, or access control systems
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ESA, BICSI, OSHA-10/30, manufacturer-specific)
