Our client is a rapidly expanding organization in the mobility and technology space, seeking a highly skilled Service Desk & Mobile Device Management Technician to join their corporate IT team in Tulsa.

This role provides essential Level 2 Service Desk support while primarily specializing in the setup, management, and security of the corporate fleet of mobile devices. You will be a crucial resource, ensuring remote and on-site staff remain productive and secure through expertly managed mobile technology.

This is a direct-hire role with a target salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year.

Core Responsibilities

I. Mobile Device Management (MDM) & Security (Approx. 60% Focus)

  • Manage the full lifecycle of corporate mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows, Chrome OS), including procurement, tracking, inventory, provisioning, configuration, updates, and secure decommissioning.
  • Provision and configure mobile devices and applications for employees.
  • Implement and enforce robust security measures (encryption, access controls, remote wipe, usage policies).
  • Manage software updates and application distribution, including allowlisting/blocklisting.
  • Actively manage and maintain MDM solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune).
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

II. Level 2 Service Desk Support (Approx. 40% Focus)

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported via Service Desk portal, phone, or email.
  • Troubleshoot network/local printers, computer hardware, email, Internet, wireless/LAN access, and telephony services.
  • Manage users and devices within Active Directory.
  • Provide clear, professional end-user support and training.
  • Document processes and escalate complex problems to senior technicians.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential service-impacting issues.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of applicable Service Desk and/or MDM experience (internships or military experience accepted).

    • OR 2 years of experience plus multiple certifications (A+, Network+, Security+) or a relevant degree (CS, MIS, IT, Cybersecurity).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven proficiency with MDM solutions, preferably Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting iOS, Android, and Windows mobile operating systems.
  • Solid knowledge of VPN, Wi-Fi, and core cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems and SLA management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for user training and collaboration.
