IT Quality Engineering Lead – Remote Contract

Hourly Rate: $45–$61/hour (depending on experience)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineering Lead to support a critical PCI Compliance project for our client. This is a contract role offering the flexibility of remote work and the opportunity to contribute to a high-visibility initiative within a dynamic environment.

Role Overview

As the Quality Engineering Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of operations related to PCI compliance. You will be responsible for test case management, executing file and data testing, delivering metrics reporting, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead test case management activities using Zephyr Scale
• Execute file and data testing to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Develop and maintain metrics reports to track quality and progress
• Coordinate and support UAT efforts with business stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects
• Ensure adherence to PCI compliance standards and testing best practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA/QE roles
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with data testing
• Proficiency with Zephyr Scale for test management
• Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on PCI compliance or security-related projects
• Familiarity with file validation and data integrity testing
• Experience coordinating UAT and working with business users
